Getting Started
Download the Kapizox App

Kapizox is available on both iOS and Android, completely free. Download it from your app store and open it to begin — no desktop needed.

iOS: Open the App Store, search "Kapizox", tap Get.
Android: Open Google Play Store, search "Kapizox", tap Install.
Requirements: iOS 15+ or Android 10+. Works on any modern smartphone — no special hardware needed.

Sign Up & Choose Client Role

Tap Create Account on the app's welcome screen. Choose "I'm a Client" as your role, then fill in your details. The whole sign-up takes under a minute.

Role: Client — Select the Client card at the top of the sign-up form. This gives you access to the creator discovery feed, booking tools, and availability calendar.
Phone & WhatsApp (optional): Creators will use WhatsApp to confirm event details after you place a booking request. Add it now to save time later — or skip and add it from your profile.
Password: Minimum 8 characters. A strength indicator shows as you type.

Tip: Use the same email where you want to receive booking confirmations and creator updates.

Your Profile

Tell creators a bit about yourself. A short bio and your preferred languages help creators understand what you're looking for before you even send a booking request.

Profile Photo (optional): Add a photo so creators know who they're working with. Tap the camera circle to upload from your photo library.
Bio (optional, 150 chars · 2 lines max): A short note about the kinds of events you typically look to cover — e.g. "Planning my sister's wedding in Hyderabad. Looking for a candid photographer."
Languages Spoken (required, up to 4): Select the languages you're comfortable communicating in. Creators who speak your language appear higher when browsing. Choose from Hindi, English, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and more, or add a custom language.

Custom event type: Don't see your event in the list? Tap the + button to type in any event type — e.g. Engagement Shoot, Pre-Wedding, Product Launch.

Your Location

Select the cities where you typically look for creators. This filters your discovery feed to show you photographers and videographers who operate in or near your area.

Select up to 3 cities: Choose the cities you want creators from. If you plan events in multiple cities — e.g. your home city and a destination wedding location — add all of them.
Search any city: The top cities are shown by default. Use the search box to find your specific city, district, or town if it's not listed on the main screen.
After this step: Tap Continue — your setup is done. You'll go straight to the home feed where creators in your selected cities are displayed, ready to browse.

Tip: Many creators travel — even if your event city is small, search for creators in the nearest major city and check their Service Areas on their profile.

Start Exploring Creators

Setup is complete. You're now on the home feed — browse verified creators in your city, check their availability before reaching out, view portfolios, and send booking requests directly from the app.

Browse the feed: Scroll through creator cards showing their name, category, city, rating, and tagline. Tap any card to open their full profile with portfolio, packages, and availability.
Check Availability: On each creator's card in the home feed, tap "Check Availability" to see their blocked dates for the next 30 days — without even opening their full profile. Green = free, marked = booked or unavailable.
View packages: Open a creator's profile to see their service packages with pricing and what's included. Select the package that fits your event and tap Book Now.
Send a booking request: Fill in your event date, location, and any notes for the creator. They'll receive a notification instantly and respond to confirm or discuss details via WhatsApp.
Track your bookings: All your booking requests — pending, confirmed, and completed — appear in the Bookings tab. After the event, you'll be prompted to leave a review for the creator.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Kapizox free for clients?
Yes, completely free. There are no fees to sign up, browse creators, or place a booking request. You pay the creator directly — Kapizox does not take any commission from client payments.
How do I know creators are genuine?
Every creator on Kapizox goes through a manual review by our team before their profile goes live. We check their portfolio quality, contact details, and profile completeness. Approved creators show a verified checkmark on their profile and card.
Can I book a creator from another city?
Yes. Many creators list multiple service areas — cities they're willing to travel to for shoots. Check the "Service Areas" section on a creator's profile. Travel costs (if any) are discussed directly with the creator over WhatsApp after placing your request.
How do I pay the creator?
Payments are arranged directly with the creator — via UPI, bank transfer, or cash — after confirming event details over WhatsApp. Kapizox does not currently handle payment processing. An integrated Razorpay payment gateway is coming soon.
What if I need to cancel a booking?
Open the booking in your Bookings tab and tap the cancel option. We recommend messaging the creator over WhatsApp as soon as possible to let them know — especially if it's close to the event date, as they may have blocked their calendar for your shoot.
Can I switch to a creator account later?
Yes. If you're also a creator and want to list your services on Kapizox, you can upgrade your account to a creator account from within the app. Tap "Become a Creator" from your profile to start the creator onboarding process.
